This Electric Wheelchair Rental Service Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “this Agreement”) applies to all customers (hereinafter referred to as “Customer” or “You”) who rent electric wheelchairs through this website (hereinafter referred to as “this Website” or “We”). Before submitting a rental order and completing payment, please carefully read this Agreement. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

1. Scope of Rental Service and Eligible Users
1.1 The electric wheelchair rental service provided by this Website is available to individuals and institutions residing in the United States.
1.2 The rented equipment is for lawful use only and may not be used for illegal purposes or subleased to third parties.
1.3 Customers must ensure that they or the intended user have the ability to operate the electric wheelchair properly. Customers shall be responsible for any damage or accidents caused by personal reasons.

2. Rental Process
2.1 Customers may select the wheelchair model, rental period, and submit an order through this Website.
2.2 After submitting an order, the customer must pay the rental fee and deposit as prompted by the system. The order becomes effective only after payment is successfully completed.
2.3 This Website will arrange for shipment within 48 hours after receiving payment and will provide tracking information.
2.4 Upon receiving the equipment, the customer must inspect it immediately. If there are any damages or missing parts, the customer must contact us within 24 hours. Otherwise, the equipment will be deemed to be in good condition.

3. Rental Fees and Deposit
3.1 Rental Fees: The rental fee is calculated on a daily basis: Total Fee = Daily Rental Rate × Rental Days. The full amount must be paid at the time of order placement.
3.2 Deposit: Customers must pay a $500 deposit as a guarantee against equipment damage or loss. The deposit will be refunded after the equipment is returned and inspected.
3.3 Other Fees (if applicable):
Shipping Fee: The rental fee includes shipping costs; no additional shipping fee is required.
Cleaning Fee: If the equipment is returned excessively dirty, this Website reserves the right to deduct a cleaning fee from the deposit.

4. Rental Period and Extension
4.1 The minimum rental period offered by this Website is 7 days.
4.2 If the customer wishes to extend the rental period, they must submit a renewal request at least 48 hours before the rental period expires.
4.3 If the customer fails to renew or return the equipment before the due date, this Website has the right to deduct the deposit and take legal action to recover the equipment or any additional costs.
4.4 Delivery Delay Notice: We will arrange for shipping as soon as we receive your order and allow up to 7 days for logistics processing to ensure timely delivery. However, due to uncontrollable factors such as courier operations or weather conditions, some orders may experience a delay of 1-2 days and may not arrive on your scheduled rental start date. If your order is delayed due to logistics and arrives later than the scheduled date, your rental period will automatically be extended to ensure you receive the full rental duration. For example, if your original rental dates are from May 1st to May 8th, but the wheelchair arrives on May 2nd due to a delivery delay, your rental period will automatically be adjusted to May 2nd to May 9th at no additional cost.

5. Order Cancellation
5.1 Before Shipment: If a rental order is canceled before the equipment has been shipped, the full amount will be refunded with no cancellation fees.
5.2 After Shipment: If a rental order is canceled after the equipment has already been shipped, the customer must cover the round-trip shipping cost of $100 before a refund is issued.
5.3 Refusing Delivery: If the customer refuses to accept the delivery upon arrival, it will be treated as a cancellation after shipment, and the customer must pay the round-trip shipping cost of $100 before receiving a refund.

6. Equipment Delivery and Return
6.1 Delivery Method: The equipment will be delivered via courier. The customer must provide an accurate shipping address and contact information.
6.2 Equipment Inspection: Upon receiving the equipment, the customer must inspect it immediately. Any issues must be reported within 24 hours.
6.3 Return Process:
Customers must properly pack the equipment and provide the return tracking number within 24 hours after the rental period ends.
The returned equipment must include all accessories (e.g., battery, charger). Failure to return accessories will result in a deduction from the deposit.
If the equipment is not returned on time, an overdue fee will be charged based on the daily rental rate of the rented wheelchair until the equipment is returned or the deposit is fully deducted.
6.4 Return Delay Notice: Customers are required to ship the equipment within 24 hours after the rental period ends and provide a valid tracking number. If the return is delayed due to uncontrollable factors such as courier operations or weather conditions, as long as the customer ships the equipment on time and provides the tracking proof, we will not charge additional late fees. However, if the customer fails to ship the equipment within 24 hours after the rental period ends and does not provide the tracking number, a daily late fee will be charged until the equipment is shipped.
For example:
If the rental period is from May 1st to May 8th, the customer must ship the equipment by May 9th and provide the tracking number.
If the customer ships the equipment on May 10th, a $30 late fee will be charged for 1 day.
If the customer ships the equipment on May 11th, a $60 late fee will be charged for 2 days.
All late fees will be deducted from the deposit.

7. Equipment Usage Rules
7.1 Customers must properly maintain and use the equipment during the rental period, ensuring that it is not subjected to abnormal damage.
7.2 The following actions are prohibited:
Disassembling, modifying, or repairing the equipment.
Using the equipment in extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain, snow) or on rough terrain (e.g., water, sand).
Using the equipment for illegal activities or reckless driving.
Subleasing or lending the equipment to third parties.
7.3 If damage occurs due to improper use, the customer shall bear the repair or replacement costs.

8. Deposit Refund and Damage Compensation
8.1 Deposit Refund: The deposit will be refunded within 7 business days after the equipment is returned and inspected.
8.2 Damage Compensation: If the equipment is found to have noticeable damage or malfunctions, repair costs will be deducted from the deposit. If the repair cost exceeds the deposit amount, the customer must pay the difference.
8.3 Loss Compensation: If the customer loses the equipment, the deposit will not be refunded.

9. Early Termination of Rental
9.1 Customers may return the equipment before the rental period ends. Any unused rental fees will be refunded.
9.2 If the rental service is terminated due to a violation of this Agreement (e.g., refusal to return equipment, intentional damage), this Website reserves the right to withhold the full deposit and pursue legal action.

10. Liability Limitations and Disclaimer
10.1 This Website is not responsible for damages caused by improper use, operational errors, or actions of third parties.
10.2 Customers assume full legal responsibility for any consequences arising from the use of the equipment, including but not limited to traffic accidents and liability claims.
10.3 This Website is not liable for service delays or cancellations due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, policy changes).

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
11.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States, and any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with local laws.
11.2 If any disputes arise from this Agreement, both parties should attempt to resolve them through negotiation first.

12. Amendments and Updates
12.1 This Website reserves the right to modify this Agreement as necessary. The updated Agreement will be published on the Website and will take effect immediately.
12.2 Continued use of the rental service by the customer constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
